Job Title: Sr. Quality Engineer for Customers

Job Location:  Leon, Guanajuato | Leon Cutting Plant

 

MISSION: Meet customer's satisfaction according to their scorecards requirements and achieve KPI goals driven by Lear's Leadership behaviors, involving multidisciplinary teams for preventive and corrective actions.

 

YOUR TASKS WILL BE

 

  • Safety.
  • Quality. External Plant PPM, External negotiated PPM, Sort Cost, PD Cost, Internal IPPM.
  • IATF Audit.
  • Fast response process.
  • LPA Participation – Quality Systems.
  • Corrective action process.
  • Launches and transferences.
  • Customer satisfaction. Critical Programs, Customer complaint management.
  • Involvement and support on internal issues.
  • Internal containment costs.
  • Third party sort management.
  • PD cost management.
  • Cost improvement projects.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED

 

  • Bachelor’s degree as Industrial Engineer preferably
  • 3+ years as Quality Engineer for Customers.
  • Automotive industry.
  • Leather industry preferably.
  • Wide experience on corrective action process.
  • Expertise on Control Plan and PFMEA, leading periodical revisions with multidisciplinary team.
  • Leading preventive and corrective actions to ensure quality requirements.
  • Ensuring quality metrics for internal, external PPM and cost of quality.
  • Proficient communication with customers and highly presentation skills.
  • Full involvement on quality performance for launches of new products.
  • Active participation on Quality Management System.
  • Highly organized and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with data analysis, excel use and critical thinking.
  • Collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • English advanced.
