We are in position to offer a great job opportunity to work as Operations Manager, based in Torreon, Coahuila, México (E-Systems Division). 

As Operations Manager will have to develop and execute strategies and action plans to meet both the financial goals (bottom line) as well as the Customer expectations in quality and delivery while taking the Manufacturing floor to a great level of housekeeping and performance.

Your Task will be

  • Exceed plant forecast monthly, quarterly, and FY (Ref Budget).
  • Strive for BoB performance: Labor efficiency, D/I ratio, Scrap, OEE & Schedule attainment.
  • People Focus: allocate enough DL/IL resource in a timely manner to their areas, turnover indirect, absenteeism, severity, frequency & engagement.
  • Support the CI culture in the plant.

 

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor´s degree on electronic, industrial, electromechanical engineering, or any related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience: 3 years minimum as Operations Manager or 2 years minimum as Plant Manager within the automotive manufacturing industry (wiring harnesses preferred).
  • Knowledge: Customer's requirements, Resource administration, quality and manufacturing systems, continuous improvement, Strong overview, and experience in managing plant financial forecasting and CAPEX spend, Strong drive, determination, and management skills to lead from the front and get the best out of your team.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • English Advance.
  • You should have great analytical skills, to be creative/ innovative, to have initiative, to be persistent and open to criticism and others' ideas.
  • Capacity of analysis, communication and organizational skills, strictness in achieving goals/ deadlines, synthesis, and decision abilities.
