Following its establishment in 2012, Plzeň has grown into our fastest-growing Engineering Development Center in Europe. The center focuses on the design and development of Lear products, including complex seating mechanisms and structures, foams, coatings, plastics, and trim components. The vision for Plzen is not to work as an internal supplier for our European business units but to develop into a leading Design and Development Center working on projects for all major European OEM customer groups from concept phase through to delivery.
Your Responsibilities:
- Support the Sales Manager in driving profitable sales growth to achieve overall revenue and margin targets.
- Monitor price evolution for serial and development programs and initiate actions to increase program profitability.
- Prepare and submit customer quotations and act as the first point of contact for commercial and technical questions.
- Coordinate and communicate commercial topics with customers, including price agreements, past dues, and other business‑related issues.
- Build and maintain strong working‑level relationships with customer purchasing teams, fostering trust and long‑term cooperation.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to obtain first‑hand technical information and ensure alignment on customer requirements.
- Enhance and improve internal sales processes to increase the productivity and effectiveness of the sales organization.
- Guide others in resolving complex issues within the specialized area, applying deep functional expertise.
- Address challenges that extend beyond the immediate team by leveraging knowledge of related disciplines.
- Solve complex problems by taking a broad, cross‑functional perspective and considering functional objectives and resource availability.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Program Management or sales‑related positions.
- Recognized expert-level knowledge within the discipline, with specialized depth or breadth in the function.
- Ability to work independently or manage others while delivering impact at the department/function level.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to address complex challenges and propose comprehensive solutions.
- Capable of guiding colleagues in resolving complex issues using existing solutions, best practices, and procedures.
- Broad understanding of related disciplines enabling cross-boundary collaboration and decision-making with broader organizational impact.
- Demonstrated ability to build reliable, trust-based customer relationships and foster positive commercial outcomes.
