Following its establishment in 2012, Plzeň has grown into our fastest-growing Engineering Development Center in Europe. The center focuses on the design and development of Lear products, including complex seating mechanisms and structures, foams, coatings, plastics, and trim components. The vision for Plzen is not to work as an internal supplier for our European business units but to develop into a leading Design and Development Center working on projects for all major European OEM customer groups from concept phase through to delivery.

This role is responsible for supporting and executing engineering projects by aligning customer requirements with internal capabilities. You contribute to planning, coordination, and problem‑solving activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the required quality standards, while working closely with customers and international stakeholders.

 

Your Responsibilities:

Communicate with customers to understand technical requirements, align expectations, and agree on project timelines
Support planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects to meet budget, timing, and quality targets
Analyze technical documentation and drawings to support project implementation and resolve technical issues
Monitor project progress and regularly report status to senior managers and/or customers
Cooperate with teams in Europe and contribute to effective cross‑location and cross‑functional collaboration


Your Qualifications:

2–4 years of experience in the automotive industry or in a comparable technical or engineering position
Technical background with strong orientation toward engineering documentation and technical details
Ability to solve complex technical problems using structured and analytical thinking
Communicative and proactive working style, with the ability to interact directly with customers
Fluent English required for customer and internal communication
