WASTEWATER TREATMENT OPERATOR – SECOND SHIFT

GUILFORD TEXTILE, PINE GROVE

As a member of the EHS team, the Wastewater Treatment Operator will be responsible for controlling, monitoring, and maintaining the equipment and treatment processes in an industrial wastewater treatment plant.

The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

• Removing or neutralizing chemicals, solid materials, and organisms in wastewater so that the water is not polluted when it is returned to the environment.
• Taking samples and monitoring treatment to ensure treated water is safe for intended use.
• Performing in-plant maintenance including cleaning, servicing, lubricating, and repairing pumps, chemical feed equipment, and other mechanical devices regularly found in water, wastewater and industrial wastewater treatment facilities.

Your Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED
• Must be able to pass Background Check and Drug Screening
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand for a prolonged amount of time.
