Job Description
NEW CARREER OPPORTUNITY | MANUFACTURING QUALITY ENGINEER
REYNOSA PLANT
Ensure that the quality of the parts produced at Lear Thermal Comfort System Reynosa meets all customer expectations through the correct understanding and validation of compliance with all the requirements established by them in the product development and launch stage, and already in serial production, being the main channel of communication with the client to coordinate (to the CFT) and act quickly in obtaining an effective response (such as root causes and countermeasures) to non-conformities or client concerns.
Responsibilities
- Attend opportunely to assigned customers in any communication channel requested.
- On daily basis to check into customer portal the Lear TCS performance (customer claims, Escalations, notifications, warranties, etc.) to notify to involved areas opportunely.
- Develop and implement the necessary controls – process and product – to meet reliability and capability levels.
- Develop and submit PPAP’s documents for new products.
- Knowledge development and updates to control plan and PFMEA
- Own and Lead assigned Program / Product 8D’s.
- Coordinate to analyse, troubleshoot and follow up on customer or internal quality issues during launch process and during mass production.
- Responsible for providing accurate analysis and on time response for customer complaints for products under launch process and Serial into customer portals, or as customer required.
- Coordinate timely completion of dimensional capability, gauge certification and R&R signed approvals, dimensional studies on finished goods with road maps as required.
- Owns and drives process capability – CP/CPK, SPC on all developing programs
Skills
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 5 years working in the function in the automotive industry.
- Strong interpersonal communication and listening ability.
- Practical experience in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) tools, tool usage and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
- Competent in problem solving tools such as 8D methodology.
- Strong knowledge in Core Tools, IATF, Problem solving.
- Knowledge of customer specific requirements GM, Stellantis, Ford.
- Proficient English
