PLATFORM MANAGER
SOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN

As a member of the program management team, the program manager will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to deliver structures seating programs from concept through production. You will ensure that projects meet customer requirements, are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

• Lead and coordinate all aspects of program execution including operations, engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and quality.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding program status, issues, and changes.
• Develop and manage detailed program timelines, budgets, and resource plans. Ensure alignment with internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure program success.
• Monitor and control program costs, including BOM, tooling, and capital expenditures.
• Evaluate and implement engineering changes (ECRs, PCRs) and ensure proper documentation and communication.
• Ensure final product meets customer expectations and internal quality standards.

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in automotive program management or operations (Preferred)
• Strong understanding of product development lifecycle and launch processes.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Bonus If You Have:

• Experience in the seating division
• Experience as program/platform manager
• Experience in launch roles
