PROGRAM MANAGER
SOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN – WORLD HEADQUARTERS

 

As a member of the Seating Program Management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall success of a program launch through strong leadership, excellent organizational skills and clear communication both internally and externally.

The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  •  Manage program timelines by directing, coordinating, and communicating to all functional groups assigned to the program as well as customer functional groups and platform teams.
  • Conduct planning activities to ensure programs launch on-time and meet deliverables
  • Monitor timing, quality, scope, technical and financial risks and issues on assigned program and resolve risks where possible.
  • Manage the implementation of engineering changes for profit and loss for your program. Lead team to identify offset costs and tasks to address changes that have a negative financial impact.
  • Requires flexibility to changing responsibilities and workload adjustments.

 

 

Your Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering or related field
  • Proficient with Microsoft excel, project and PowerPoint
  • Must be highly organized, display excellent leadership skills and be a self-starter
  • Travel is required…roughly 25%. During launch phase, expect travel to increase as needed.
  •  8 years automotive experience; 4 years of project or program management experience

 

Bonus If You Have:

  •  Siemens PLM Team Center system knowledge for Program and/or sales functions
  • Product development experience
  • Experience in purchasing, quality and/or operations
  • Automotive seating experience – specific experience in working with Stellantis
