RECRUITER II

SOUTHFIELD, MI – WORLD HEADQUARTERS – IN-PERSON

 

As a member of the Talent Acquisition team, the Recruiter will be responsible for overseeing full-cycle recruitment.  The recruitment cycle will include sourcing, attracting, interviewing, and delivering offers of employment for Lear’s Southfield, MI headquarters and US manufacturing operations.  You’ll collaborate with the HR Generalists, Hiring Managers and Talent Acquisition team members across all Divisions to support and drive the recruiting process efficiently while helping to select and attract the best talent for Lear Corporation.

The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Professionally representing Lear brand and nurturing trusting relationships with potential hires.
  • Managing an open position workload of 30+ roles and delivering strong customer service across all stakeholders.
  • Coordinating with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide related recruiting support across multiple work environments and job functions (Engineering, IT, HR, Finance, Quality, Supply Chain, etc).
  • Reviewing and posting job descriptions and ensuring consistency in job postings across Lear’s internal and external job boards.
  • Setting application selection criteria and conducting prescreens assessing fit for role using requirements of the position. 
  • Screening resumes submitted for assigned job openings and passing qualified candidates along to the designated hiring manager/team.
  • Sourcing potential candidates through online channels such as LinkedIn or Indeed.
  • Scheduling interviews (phone, virtual, onsite, offsite) between external candidates and internal stakeholders at various band levels across all divisions. 
  • Supporting leadership assessments for senior positions and providing input on hiring recommendations based on candidate fit against position deliverables.
  • Conducting reference checks for identified new hires.
  • Providing timely communication and feedback to candidates and hiring managers. 
  • Organizing or participating in job fairs and recruitment events in-person or virtual at various university partners.
  • Identifying and gathering the necessary approvals for offers within the specific department.  
  • Helping support a variety of other activities related to Talent Acquisition team’s success.

 

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
  • 5 years’ of work experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or Recruiter handling full life-cycle recruitment.
  • Ability to manage a requisition workload of 30+ positions.
  • Previous experience recruiting for Corporate IT roles including software developers, full stack developers, IT Specialists,  etc.  
  • Previous experience recruiting for open roles in manufacturing plants across a variety of functions (HR, Finance, Engineering, Quality, etc).
  • Previously experience using LinkedIn are your primary passive sourcing tool.
  • Conceptual understanding of candidate flow within an ATS and ability to learn a new ATS quickly.
  • Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer-focus attitude and eager to deliver a satisfied customer experience (internal and external).
  • Attention to detail.
  • Able to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment.
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritize tasks.

 

 

Bonus If You Have:

  • Previous experience using SAP SuccessFactors as an ATS.
  • Previous experience using Paradox Text-To-Apply functionality.
