SALES COORDINATOR

SOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN

 

As a member of the North American Seating team, the Sales Coordinator will be responsible to support business development initiatives with both the external customer and internal customers within Lear corporation. 

 

The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

•             Full ownership of commodity programs with the customer

•             Full ownership of tooling billing and audit process

•             Support program Sales team with analysis and preparation of internal documents including program profitability review, improvement initiatives, budget and forecast preparation, and scenario analysis

•             Support program Sales team with analysis and preparation of customer quotations

 

The Hour-by-Hour Task Breakdown with Percentages:

•             Gather and analyze all required tooling information from the supply base for submission to the customer (20%)

•             Manage the submission, modification, and implementation process for customer commodity programs (30%)

•             Support the sales group on both internal and external commercial requests and initiatives (50%)

 

Your Qualifications:

•             Self-starter, self-motivator with a positive attitude that can influence the organization

•             Independent and logical thinker; ability to creatively mitigate problems and capitalize on opportunities

•             Financial intuition is a strong plus

•             High level of personal accountability and unwavering integrity

•             Ability to function well during high stress situations

•             Strong communication skills; well-developed organizational, inter-personal and problem-solving skills

•             Leadership and persuasive skills in facilitating projects through the organization

•             Ability to recognize areas in need of improvement

•             Strong PC skills; Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, BASICS

•             4-year college degree

 

Preferred If You Have:

•             Previous Automotive Tier 1 sales experience
