Job Description
The Senior Manager, Digital Transformation & BPO Governance will lead the Electronics business's digital transformation strategy, ensuring digital investments and technology initiatives are aligned with business priorities and deliver measurable outcomes. Reporting to the Director, Governance, Execution & Optimization (GEO) – Global Electronics, this role serves as the key link between business leaders, Business Process Owners (BPOs), and digital teams to drive the governance, execution, adoption, and scaling of strategic digital initiatives across the Electronics business. The position is responsible for building a scalable governance framework, accelerating organizational change, and maximizing business value through technology, automation, data, and AI.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the Electronics digital transformation strategy and multi-year roadmap, translating business priorities and future-state operating models into actionable digital initiatives.
- Establish and govern the Business Process Owner (BPO) operating model, ensuring clear ownership, accountability, and value realization.
- Partner with business leaders to identify, prioritize, and deploy digital initiatives that improve productivity, decision-making, operational performance, and competitiveness.
- Lead the monthly Electronics Digital Governance Review, tracking roadmap execution, deployment, adoption, value realization, and barriers requiring leadership decisions.
- Drive adoption of digital solutions across the Electronics business through change management, stakeholder engagement, and best-practice sharing across regions and functions.
- Define success metrics, measure business outcomes, and ensure digital initiatives deliver sustainable value.
- Coach, align, and challenge BPOs to define future-state processes, digital requirements, Statements of Work, business cases, transformation roadmaps, adoption plans, value metrics, and data-accountability requirements.
- Act as a change agent who promotes innovation, challenges the status quo, and drives cross-functional collaboration in a highly matrixed organization.
- Align the IDEA and broader digital portfolio with Electronics business objectives, maintaining transparency of priorities, investments, resources, and expected value.
- Challenge initiatives that are not delivering expected outcomes and recommend reprioritization of resources toward higher-value opportunities.
- Ensure successful digital solutions are standardized and scaled across functions and regions rather than remaining isolated local pilots.
The Role
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Experience establishing and managing governance frameworks, operating models, and cross-functional transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of business process design, process improvement, and organizational transformation.
- Proven success leading large-scale change management and digital adoption efforts.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive results in a complex, matrixed organization without direct authority.
- Strong business, financial, and analytical acumen with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience deploying enterprise-wide digital solutions and delivering measurable business value.
- Demonstrated builder mindset with strong ownership, execution discipline, systems thinking, and a willingness to constructively challenge established ways of working.
Your Qualifications
- Experience in the Electronics or Automotive industry.
- Significant experience leading digital transformation initiatives within manufacturing, engineering, operations, supply chain, purchasing, program management, or related business functions.
- Knowledge of automation, artificial intelligence (AI), advanced analytics, and digital manufacturing technologies.
- Experience leading global digital transformation programs across multiple regions.
- Familiarity with Business Process Owner (BPO) governance models and operating structures.
- Experience developing digital investment business cases, statements of work, and value realization frameworks.
- Continuous improvement, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process excellence experience.
- Demonstrated track record of scaling digital solutions across multiple functions and regions and driving sustained adoption.
Bonus If You Have
- Advanced degree (MBA or related discipline) preferred
