Location: Valls Plant – E-Systems | Lear Corporation
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Industrial Engineering Manager to lead our team in the Valls Plant. You’ll be responsible for driving the industrialization of new products, improving manufacturing processes, and ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety across operations.
Responsibilities:
• Lead, develop, and manage a team of up to 35 Industrial Engineers.
• Plan and implement the industrialization of new products and processes.
• Define and optimize manufacturing processes to meet quality, cost, and efficiency targets.
• Ensure timely setup and launch of new production lines in line with customer requirements.
• Support production teams with process improvements and technical problem-solving.
• Define and manage investments, equipment reuse, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and innovation.
• Ensure proper process documentation and traceability in compliance with customer and internal standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and program management and product engineering.
Requirements:
• University degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Fluent English – written and spoken.
• Proven leadership experience, ideally in managing engineering teams.
• Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing, preferably with electronics.
• Knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes, including SMT, automation, and testing.
• Proactive, results-driven mindset with a focus on efficiency, quality, and safety.
