Job Description
You support the integration of tooling and equipment solutions into manufacturing processes, ensuring feasibility, reliability, and compliance with standards. The role sits within Manufacturing Engineering and has direct impact on CAPEX investments, inventory accuracy, and day‑to‑day operational performance at a single site.
Responsibilities

Lead and develop engineers and technicians within the Equipment and Tooling function.

Plan, coordinate, and oversee tooling and equipment projects with a strong focus on CAPEX control.

Ensure timely execution of equipment and tooling orders in line with specifications and standard equipment files.

Allocate resources and manage schedules across multiple equipment engineering projects.

Provide technical guidance on equipment selection and continuous improvement of standard operating procedures.

Review and approve changes to engineering work instructions and technical documentation.

Coordinate with local engineering teams, car leaders, and external suppliers on equipment upgrades.Maintain accurate tooling and equipment inventory records and support audits and reporting.
Skills
Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
4+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with supervisory responsibility.
Proven experience managing equipment or tooling projects with CAPEX accountability.
Strong technical knowledge in manufacturing equipment, tooling, and engineering standards.
Experience working cross‑functionally with engineering, operations, and external vendors.
