Job Description

LEAR Valls is looking for a high-skilled Project Quality Engineer – Customer Liaison eager to join a global leader in automotive technology.

We are a large multinational company based at the Electronics Campus in Valls (Tarragona, Spain).

We are seeking a professional who is passionate about Quality and strongly focused on customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to guarantee effective containment, preventive and corrective actions.
  • Focused on customer satisfaction, from reproducing the customer issues/complaints, determining of the root cause of the failure (if needed in corporation with external research laboratories or in cooperation with Tier2 suppliers)
  • Ensuring the needed containment/corrective actions are executed to protect LER and our customers interests.
  • Prepare, release, and confidently present/defend LEAR reports to customers (both: Failure Analysis reports and/or 8D) related to quality issues and their resolution.

Job Requirements

  • University degree (preferably in Electronics Engineering; related fields will also be considered).
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the Electronics and/or Automotive industry will be considered a strong advantage.
  • Knowledge of quality tools and strong problem‑solving mindset (8D methodology).
  • Fluency in written and spoken Spanish and English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills; proactive, organized, and self‑motivated.
