Lear Corporation is looking for a Senior Commodity Buyer – Raw Material (Resin) to join our Valls administrative office, a key hub for our European and African operations. In this role, you will play a crucial part in implementing purchasing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing costs for resin commodities, a key material in automotive manufacturing.

What is Resin?

Resins are essential raw materials used in automotive components, particularly in plastics and composites for interior, exterior, and structural applications. They provide durability, lightweight properties, and cost efficiency, making them crucial in vehicle production. As a Senior Commodity Buyer, you will oversee sourcing and procurement to ensure cost-effective and high-quality resin supply for Lear’s global operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage RFQs, supplier negotiations, and contract follow-ups
• Conduct market analysis and track raw material cost trends
• Support the entire product lifecycle, from new program awards to end-of-life
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (PM, Sales, Manufacturing, etc.)
• Ensure timely system updates and material change management

What We’re Looking For:

• Degree in Engineering or Business Administration (automotive experience preferred)
• Strong negotiation and communication skills in a global environment
Fluent English; additional languages are a plus
Self-driven, reliable team player with a problem-solving mindset
