Job Description

 

The position, which reports to the Functional Safety Supervisor, main objectives are:
• Supervise and support technical topics for safety related for both running projects and
RFI/RFQs (Request For Initiation/Quotation)(Mainly systems).
• Ensure safety technical compliance and safety package for both running projects and 
RFI/RFQ. Perform RFQ Gate Review and cost estimation
• Lead and manage Functional Safety team in EU and Rabat
• Ensure lean safety release for production
• Lead the adoption of safety culture at Lear from technical perspective
• Provide functionalsafety consultancy services to other departments and projects

Responsibilities

 

• Running projects and RFI/RFQ support on safety technical solution, including review and
consultancy
• Perform Safety Assessment and ensure work products timely delivery
• Direct contact with customer for technical affairs in RFI/RFQ
• Support to project execution for the team responsible for
• Support to other departmentsISO26262 adaption
• Support to other departments on technical solutionsISO26262 compliance
• Provide coaching in Functional Safety

Experience Requirements

• Proven previous experience in safety technical activities and work products
generation (Systems, HW or SW parts)
• At least 5 years proven experience in functionalsafety related design activities
• Experience in providing safety related training and/or coaching
• Proficient in ISO26262:2011 and 2018
• English language skills are a must, German desirable
• High communication and presentation skills
