Job Description

As Advanced Process Engineer You will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and implementing Surface - mount processes, ensuring compliance with automotive industry standards and customer requirements.

 

Responsibilities

• Control engineering releases and changes, process designs, and efficiency improvements.

• Optimize processes in final assembly, selective soldering, conformal coating, functional testing, and mechanical assembly.

• Validate wave and selective soldering / coating processes/ paste soldering process, stencil design. Creation and validation of profiles for reflow ovens. 

• Implement improvements to manufacturing processes and product testing.

• Cost analysis review, cycle time estimation, and process flow evaluation.

• Collaborate with the cost team to estimate manufacturing costs and optimize resource utilization.

• Work closely with customers and internal teams to align backend processes with OEM and Tier 1 supplier requirements.

• Train manufacturing and engineering staff in backend process best practices and troubleshooting techniques.

Education Requirements

Industrial, Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering, or any related field. 

Experience Requirements

-Experience in automotive electronics needed (Backend, Conformal Coating).
-Selective soldering, conformal coating, functional testing, PCB and assemblies knowledge.New products introduction and Engineering Changes proficient knowledge.
-Core Tools, Six Sigma, IPC 610, PFMA, Process flow, DFM and Problem-solving knowledge.
-8+ years of experience in Engineering Areas.
