Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven and analytical Purchasing Specialist to manage procurement processes, negotiate favorable agreements, and drive continuous cost-reduction strategies.

Position objectives

Position Objectives

• Ensure Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to purchasing methodologies, policies, regulations, and best practices.
• Order Management: Prepare, review, and issue accurate and complete purchase orders and agreements.
• Cost Efficiency: Identify, track, and implement potential savings opportunities.
• Vendor Negotiation: Secure advantageous price and long-term agreements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills across all organizational levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
• Experience in a purchasing function 
• Experience in the automotive manufacturing industry (desirable).
• Strong data analysis, reporting, and research capabilities.
• Analytical mindset
