Job Description

NEW CAREER OPPORTUNITY | LAUNCH MANAGER | OFICINAS CENTRALES SALTILLO

 

Responsible for leading the planning and execution of production process transfers between plants, ensuring supply continuity, meeting customer requirements, approval of validations, and production stabilization at the destination plant, within the established time, cost, and quality. 

Primarily ensuring zero supply interruptions during the transfer, PPAP approved on time, PPM during ramp-up ≤ customer target or defined internal standard, compliance with project stages, as well as adherence to the transfer budget. 

Ensure process stabilization after the transfer by meeting the defined performance indicators (quality, capacity, and productivity).

Responsibilities

A Manager (M3) manages experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments.

Responsibilities typically include:

  • Policy and strategy implementation for short-term results (1 year or less)
  • Problems faced are difficult to moderately complex
  • Influences others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices and procedures

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering

Experience Requirements

  • +7 years in the Automotive Industry. Proven experience in transferring production processes, launching or industrializing products, and coordinating across multiple plants.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, leadership and listening ability
  • Strong knowledge of Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC), Lean Manufacturing, Program Management, Project and cost evaluation
  • Knowledge in stamping and welding processes - desirable.
  • English advanced
