Job Description

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain industrial software applications using C# (.NET) and Python.
Define software architecture and component designs, applying design patterns and documenting solutions with UML.
Develop multi-threaded and asynchronous applications for real-time image acquisition, processing, and data management.
Integrate software with industrial hardware, including cameras, PLCs, and field devices using standard industrial communication protocols.
Optimize application performance, focusing on latency, throughput, reliability, and memory efficiency in 24/7 production environments.
Design and maintain data persistence solutions and database integrations to support traceability and production reporting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver and support automation, AI, and manufacturing solutions.
Participate in code reviews, maintain source control using Git, and contribute to testing and CI/CD practices.
Support software commissioning, deployment, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement at manufacturing and customer sites.
Create and maintain technical documentation and share knowledge across engineering teams.

Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience in software development for industrial, embedded, real-time, or manufacturing environments.
Proficiency in C# (.NET) and Python, including object-oriented design and asynchronous programming.
Experience with software architecture, design patterns, UML modeling, concurrent programming, and performance optimization.
Experience with Git, relational databases (PostgreSQL or SQL Server), and collaborative software development practices.
