Position overview:
Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, our future Maintenance Coordinator will have as main missions:
* To ensures optimal equipment reliability through preventive and corrective maintenance, efficient spare parts management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* To develop the technical skills of the maintenance team through structured training programs. Working closely with production, engineering, and quality teams, driving equipment performance, supports lean manufacturing goals, and ensures compliance with automotive standards such as IATF 16949.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise and develop a multi skilled maintenance team.
- Define skills matrix and technical training roadmap and evaluate the performance of subordinates.
- Organize and deliver hands on training, technical workshops, and refresh sessions.
- Negotiate the resources needed to implement the new process or improvement (human, technical, financial, time).
- Develop or upgrade the procedures of maintenance.
- Lead continuous improvement project to reduce downtime, energy consumption, and maintenance costs, driving Lean initiatives.
- Ensure maintenance team compliance with maintenance procedures, safety rules and quality standards.
- Prepare and manage the budget dedicated to maintenance OPEX & CAPEX.
- Define and ensure the spare parts list needed for all manufacturing equipment’s. (Critical parts, Define Min/Max, order levels Safety stock; delivery).
- Identify areas of cost optimization and negotiating with purchasing for various services maintenance
- Monitor and analyze equipment performance indicators with daily report to plant leadership. “OEE, MTTR, MTBF, maintenance Cost, Preventive effectiveness, stock value.).
- Maintain up to date maintenance Database, technical documentation, and Spart parts consumption and downtime time reliable records.
- Lead root cause analysis and ensure the corrective maintenance of equipment and technical assistance.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs (Planning, Control, preventive and predictive).
- Conduct periodic internal audits with action plan and participate in customer or certifications audits.
- Implement and sustain TPM pillars.
- Validate and qualify new processes and new equipment.
- Control and optimize the process parameters.
- Prevent and manage the impacts on the environment and safety and ensure the appropriate behavior of employees of service in relation with the EH&S management system.
- Ensuring the quality of services of the maintenance department regarding to standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001& IATF 16949 etc.).
Key skills and Qualifications:
- Technical degree (Bac +3/+ 5) in Maintenance / Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance coordination or a similar role.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to adhere to strict deadlines.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- High level of ownership and independence.
- Proficiency in multi-tasking and prioritizing work effectively.
- Respect of the quality and HSE system requirements
- Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
- Strong leadership, training, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent knowledge of production equipment related to wire harnessing.
- Proficiency in both English & French languages, spoken and written
