Key Responsibilities:

 

 

  • He leads, plans, organizes, and controls activities related to manufacturing processes within the company, as well as the standardization of common wiring processes.
  • He determines space requirements for various functions and layouts, and improves production methods including layout, tooling, production equipment, materials, assembly methods, and labor needs.
  • He works jointly with planning and design personnel on product and tooling configuration to ensure efficiency of production resources.
  • He determines production time and identifies the necessary methods in order to optimize the production schedule.
  • He identifies, together with the Production Manager, the necessary tooling to carry out production modifications, taking environmental aspects into consideration.
  • He applies statistical methods to estimate production potential in relation to future orders.
  • He ensures the monitoring of the company’s Quality Plan in order to optimize production methods and processes.
  • He informs the Engineering Department Manager about manufacturing capacity regarding the production program and any potential issues to support decision making.
  • He is responsible for requesting necessary working means from the purchasing department and for tracking their delivery.
  • He is responsible for identifying potential new tooling and machinery developments with central engineering, with the aim of optimizing the manufacturing process.
  • He promotes and implements the introduction of new manufacturing systems.
  • He is responsible for Industry 4.0 innovation.
  • He complies with health, safety, and environmental rules in accordance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
  • He supports HSE management system activities.

 

 

 

Key skills and Qualifications:

 

  • Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Industrial Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the automotive industry
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills
  • Proficiency in the FMEA method
  • Awareness of production related pressures and ensuring proper functioning of equipment
  • Good level of spoken and written French and English
