Your Responsibilities

In this exciting position, you will strengthen our team in the sales of forward-looking products and address the megatrends of connectivity, autonomous driving, and electrification.

  • Act as the central interface between the company and the customer Mercedes Benz, representing customer-specific concerns and interests
  • Manage ongoing projects – from pre-series to series production to spare parts in direct OEM contact
  • Additionally, you will be responsible for the successful execution of acquisition projects and manage the RFQ team
  • Independently create offers in collaboration with adjacent departments and handle contract review, offer tracking, and negotiation
  • Change management – commercial evaluation, negotiation, and implementation of technical product changes
  • Systematic and strategic planning of customer visits are also part of your core tasks
  • Comprehensive control function of business development by monitoring target-actual deviations and competitive analyses, as well as determining customer-related data for sales and marketing planning
     

You are a good fit for us if you

  • Have a successfully completed technical or business degree
  • Have at least 3 years of relevant experience in sales management for Mercedes Benz – ideally in Lear's direct market environment
  • Can add a unique selling point to your application with initial product, manufacturing, or QM knowledge of electrical and/or electronic assemblies
  • Enjoy working independently and proactively in a team and have the courage to use these freedoms
  • Are able to analyze complex and changing tasks
  • Are particularly strong in communication in German and English and thrive in exchanges with various stakeholders inside and outside the company
  • Enjoy interacting with customers and can establish a trusting basis for collaboration
  • Are willing to travel
