Job Description

Responsible for the PCB layout design (analysis of PCB requirements and constraints to implementation of these through circuit partitioning, component placement and routing) and its verification ensuring the compliance of the requirements released for its implementation.

Provides technical work packages including layout gerbers, fabrication, assembly files and documentation; supporting design reviews, simulations, analysis (DFMEA, thermal, …), FuSa deliverables, Cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Requirements analysis / definition, implementation, status recording and verification
• Low level implementation, accurate design edition, and support (PCB technical documentation) and releases.
• Supporting PCB materials selection.
• PCB deliverables generation for CN release.
• Change management (Issues triggering, supporting Documentation).
• Analysis (CR, SCR, PCR).
• Assure PCB deliveries are compliant with project planning/Quality and process.
• Supporting Functional Safety procedures & techniques established in the organization.
• Supporting cybersecurity procedures & techniques established in the organization.
• Teamwork and Collaboration capacity with different project stakeholders documentation.
• Support system requirements and derive PCB requirements from Stakeholder & System specifications.
• Implement 100% requested technical document to each PCB design release.
• Set up/support High Level Design according to PCB requirements and link each item to them.
• Review applicable systemic issues of project.
• Identify and implement 100% requested PCB requirements (Lear and customer) in requirements management tool before each design freeze milestone.
• Assure design review to fulfill with specifications, during the launch of each PCB loop development, with customer identifying risks in discrepancy list.

Education Requirements

• Technical master degree

Experience Requirements

• PCB Design Engineer with minimum 2/3-years’ experience on Xpedition and some PCAD experience.
• Low voltage design with high current, up to 6 layers (2, 4, 6).
• Designs include high current THT (fuses, terminals, relays, busbars) and can also include a portion of SMD support circuitry (ICs, caps, diodes, resistors, inductors, etc.).

Languages

• Good communication level in English
