Key Skills:

 

  • Demonstrated passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and the implementation of new manufacturing technologies.
  • Define relevant operational / technical standards and best practices for manufacturing purpose.
  • Gather and analyze data and metrics to evaluate and report on current operations and processes.
  • Identify root-cause of failures through experimentation (DOE's) and historical data analysis.
  • Improve cost performance of processes / equipment.
  • Insure full technical project follow-up (studies, construction, commissioning).
  • Keep up to date with industry standards and technology related to the electronic industry.
  • Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams and driving complex manufacturing projects.
  • Provide technical support to shopfloor operations, and support departments.
  • Provide technical training on process and equipment as required by Operations.
  • Analytical thinking, data analysis, proficiency in process simulation, and knowledge of engineering principles

To be successful for this role:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or automation engineering (master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, including THT components assembly, automation, and final assembly processes.
  • Fluency in English and French, both spoken and written.
  • Office tools skills (Excel, Data analysis)
  • Automation skills (CATIA, SolidWorks)
