Job Description
Responsibilities
- Coordinate customer demand reviews with Customer Service to identify volume increases and decreases and adjust production plans accordingly.
- Develop and maintain daily production schedules by product line to ensure efficient resource utilization.
- Manage planning across all process steps and optimize work-in-progress levels to achieve target service rates.
- Coordinate engineering changes, product phase-outs, and new product launches to eliminate obsolete inventory.
- Monitor material availability before production release and ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
- Manage production priorities and coordinate with warehouse and shipping teams to support customer delivery commitments.
- Analyze capacity, logistics data, and customer performance indicators to support planning decisions and continuous improvement.Ensure compliance with IATF requirements, customer-specific requirements, and regulatory standards while driving corrective and preventive actions.
Experience Requirements
- Experience in production planning, supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing operations.
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Master Production Scheduling (MPS), capacity planning, and inventory management processes.
- Familiarity with automotive industry standards, including IATF requirements and customer-specific quality requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with experience monitoring customer KPIs, logistics data, and production performance metrics.
