Job Description

Location : Rabat Technopolis R&D Center

This position is responsible to develop and deliver Low Level Software for embedded systems.

The primary responsibilities include designing, implementing, and testing embedded Low Level Software for automotive applications on time, on budget, on quality target and meeting the customer requirements.

The position reports solid line to the corresponding Regional Leader from the Software Discipline.

Responsibilities

• Define and document new Software requirements.
• Analyze assigned Software requirements for their design and implementation in the Software.
• Perform the Software design of the assigned Software components.
• Perform and participate in Software design reviews.
• Implement assigned Software components according to their design, the Software Requirements Specifications and coding standards.
• Perform and participate in Software Implementation reviews.
• Perform Static analysis of the assigned Software components.
• Design and execute test cases to verify the assigned Software Components.
• Perform and participate in the verification specifications (SW Unit Test, Software Integration Test and Software Test).
• Participate in Software architecture and product definition.
• Support in the design, implementation, and verification of the assigned Software Components of another team members.
• Implementation of Software Safety Analysis and Dependent Failure Analysis if applicable.
• Maintain the integrity of the Software baselines by using configuration management tools (i.e., Subversion and Azure DevOps).
• Support in assessing third-party and open-source Software.
• Participate in the RFQ/RFI process to achieve new business.
• Mentoring other Software Firmware engineers

Experience Requirements

• Engineering degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or any related field.
• Knowledge of embedded C programming and coding rules.
• Proficient in performing Software and Hardware debugging 
• Structured problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills with the ability to work effectively with Global Engineering Teams
• Fluency in English is mandatory
