Responsibilities
Work Location : Rabat Technopolis R&D Center
- Reporting directly to the Business Unit Engineering Manager and working within the engineering project team.
- Being able to independently lead projects from design point of view and find new ways and opportunities in product development design.
- You will have a key focus to coordinate and develop new product design activities to meet customer requirements, whilst working closely with Testing and Validation, Trim engineering, Programs and other Lear corporation functional departments.
- Reporting or presenting your work results, status and summary to internal / External counterpart or directly to Lear Corporation customers.
- Being part of the only Lear Seating Engineering Center, you will have a role in new development projects for general and premium OEM customers with extended range of engineering activities, complete seat engineering, prototyping, Trim development, etc.
- Develop seating components based on customer specifications and Lear internal guidelines.
- Conduct studies and analysis for integrating components and assemblies into the seat system.
- Create components and assembly drawings.
- Analyze tolerances, alignment, gaps and fitness of parts, sub-assemblies or complete seat through Stack up analysis process.
- Manage product changes in the PLM system.
Experience Requirements
- Master engineering degree
- Min. 3 years of experience in product development. Experience in the automotive industry is a must.
- Good knowledge of Design For Manufacturing (DFM) and Design For Assembly (DFA) principles.
- Good understanding of basic mechanical principles.
- Outstanding knowledge in CATIAv5 and/or NX.
- Knowledge of Teamcenter or similar Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
Languages
- Good level of English (B1 or higher) written and spoken.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
