Job Description

Location : Rabat Technopolis Tech Center

To develop the trim cover to the customers Design Intent, STO, aligned to the program cost, timing and given Plant feasibility. Work closely with the Trim Engineer and JIT team, support internal customer reviews, verify trim content aligns to Master Pattern drawing and BOM’s. guarantee that the product is complaint, innovative (where required), robust and feasible for production assembly and methods.

Responsibilities

• Trim cover development, aligned with:

• Design Intent and STO
• Hang on parts & lamination strategy
• Master Pattern and BOM definition.

• Industrial patterns modifications
• Create Trim covers BOM
• Create sewing work instructions
• Set up Sewing machine
• Realize all different seam types
• Learn and understand the customer specifications
• Detects trim covers and global seats issues 
• Manipulate pyrotechnics elements (Airbag)
• Realize final cover for master model
• Train plant operators
• Generate Mylar master patterns, with clear annotation, measured sew points, fabric direction, aligned to apposing patterns
• Prepare drawing (marks ups) for all internal designed parts, HOP’s.
• Ability to understand and solve technical problems
• Quick execution of modification as rework to solve issue
• Respect the timelines
• Carry out 5s audits

Experience Requirements

• Bac + 2 technical degree
• Good knowledge of the sewing & Trimming process
• Expert in using different sewing machines, joining, twining, decking and piping
• Good knowledge of TRIM assembly process.
• Have outstanding Craftsmanship with no feasibility issues.
• Knowledge in PDS or any CAD software
• Good knowledge of Material compositions and utilization.
• Good analysis mindset & time management.
• Can work in a challenging TDC environment.

Languages

• Good presentation and communication skills.
• Intermediate / Good English & French.
