Position overview

Reporting directly to the Advanced Quality Coordinator, our future Advanced Quality Engineer will be responsible for leading Advanced Quality and PPAP of all projects according to customer and Lear requirements and to build a good relationship with the customer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Advanced Quality activities related to new projects.
• Ensure the submission of the Schedule-A / eAPQP to customer
• Follow up, control and submission of Quality APQP deliverables.
• Preparation and submission of PPAP package and follow of its approval with the customer.
• Ensure development and update of the control plan and audit its execution.
• Lead the development of the control methods of special characteristics in SCCAF/ Supplement K.
• Manage the Quality validation of prototypes.
• Lead the problem solving of internal and external quality issues during prototypes and pre-serial production.
• Ensure the follow up of customer scorecard.
• Ensure the self-assessment according to customer requirement (Manufacturing Site Assessment, new RFQ…).
• Control the implementation of engineering changes and permits.
• Participate in the improvement of the Quality Management System.
• Support CI activities.

Key skills and Qualifications

• Bac+5 with preferably with experience in quality of automotive industry.

• Knowledge of Quality Management systems IATF 16949 (standards)
• Good knowledge of problem-solving tools: ISHIKAWA, 8D, 5WHY, PARETO…
• Good knowledge of Quality Core-tools: Control Plan, PFMEA, PPAP, APQP…
• Ability to work in a high-tempo environment and interact with team members over a wide scope of the organization.
