Responsibilities

  • Establish direct contact with customer-site quality residents to identify and implement solutions for quality issues reported by customers.
  • Ensure that quality issues are properly communicated to the manufacturing plant.
  • Participate in the preparation and review of Control Plans and PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
  • Lead problem-solving meetings by appointing members of the multidisciplinary team.
  • Implement, support, and monitor quality procedures.
  • Organize awareness and training activities to educate personnel on quality-related issues.
  • Plan and conduct internal audits to identify and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
  • Raise awareness among operators and relevant personnel regarding the importance of compliance with quality management processes.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement Plan projects.
  • Receive and manage customer complaint files in accordance with customer requirements and the 8D problem-solving methodology.
  • Support Production and Engineering teams in root cause analysis and the development of action plans.
  • Monitor corrective and preventive actions and verify their effectiveness.
  • Conduct daily line quality meetings.
  • Manage internal non-conformities and validate implemented action plans.
  • Monitor quality performance indicators, including LMQM, RPPM, DPPM, and WC.
  • Maintain and update quality communication boards within the relevant production lines.
  • Act as the interface between the customer site and the manufacturing facility, while supporting the Resident Engineer.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations in accordance with the seven key elements.

Education Requirements

  • Education: Engineering/Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Quality, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in Quality.
  • Strong knowledge of Automotive Core Tools.
  • Proficient in the 8D Problem-Solving Methodology.
  • Good experience within the automotive wiring harness industry is preferable.

Languages

  • Good communication skills.
    Proficiency in both English and French.
