Position overview:

 

We are seeking a highly skilled engineer who is motivated, impact-driven, and eager to contribute meaningfully to our organization. The ideal candidate is passionate about industrial engineering and emerging technologies.

 

The Innovation Engineer brings a robust background in systems engineering, automation, and digital integration, coupled with a strong ability to connect diverse technologies into cohesive and scalable solutions. This role is responsible for coordinating cross-functional activities related to the launch of automated processes, developing clear and comprehensive manufacturing work instructions, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Dedicated to lead and support the transformation of industrial processes from manual to automated manufacturing of product (wiring harnesses).

 

This hands-on, solution-oriented position is well suited for an individual who excels in dynamic environments, enjoys tackling complex technical challenges, and is motivated by the tangible impact of real-world engineering solutions.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Collaborate closely with all plant departments and crossfunctional teams during machine launches and the implementation of process changes.
  • Prepare, control, and update the Capacity studies and general Process Flow.
  • Prepare technical documentation for production process and establishing method and technology for assembly of wire harness.
  • Equipment demand calculation change manufacturing process according to the loads.
  • Weekly reporting of the process KPIs during the ramp up
  • Ensure, In conjunction with quality & the health, safety & environment coordinator, the performances and the validation of the equipements.
  • Support innovation and ensure technology evolution on processes and production equipements, executing innovation projects with new concepts in line with Factory 4.0 strategy.
  • Build and manage relationships with external partners and project stakeholders and access new technologies or knowledge.
  • Familiarity with automation platforms and industrial software.
  • Actively participating in general engineering tasks (CI, 5S /LPA audits.)
  • Participate to all workshops to improve Plant indicators.
  • Work closely with teams in Manufacturing, Logistics, Quality, and IT to understand operational needs and translate them into technical solutions.

 

 

Key skills and Qualifications:

 

  • Master’s (Bac+5) or bachelor’s (Bac+3) Engineering Degree.
  • 2-3 years min experience in manufacturing wiring Industry.
  • A proactive personality, demonstrating initiative.
  • Preferably experience in smart factory initiatives, IoT projects, digital transformation projects.
  • Microsoft office skills (Excel, PPT, …).
  • Ability to work with cross functional teams.
  • Product & process knowledge for wire harness.
  • Effective communication skills
  • Proficiency in both English & French languages, spoken and written
