Job Description
Attached to the Production Process Coordinator, the Process Technologist will be responsible for setting up, running, monitoring, and troubleshooting plastic injection molding machines, with a focus on efficient production, high part quality, and minimizing defects. Key responsibilities include adjusting parameter sheets for new and transferred tools, creating robot programs for linear robots and 6 axis robots, handling materials, providing operators training and creating work instructions to ensure smooth and safe operations.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate injection molding machines for new and existing production.
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain quality standards.
- Perform mold changes and optimize machine settings for efficiency.
- Approve and Resolve parts issues.
- Responsible for the production and follow up of new tools during production.
- Be the main technical contact in the plant.
- Creation of work instructions related to the product, injection molding machines and robots.
- Optimizing cycle time and flow chart.
- Train and support operators on best practices and safety procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve productivity.
Skills
Experience Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience as a technologist or similar position.
Education Requirements
Technician degree: Mechanical, Electromechanical, Industrial or Plastic & Industrial Processes
Certifications / Licenses

Languages
French: Professional proficiency
English: Intermediate proficiency
