Responsibilities
- Lead RFQ support activities by developing and validating inbound, intercompany, and outbound logistics cost models for new business opportunities.
- Analyze logistics costs and provide recommendations to support sourcing decisions, supplier evaluations, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Develop and implement regional packaging concepts and logistics solutions that meet customer, operational, quality, and sustainability requirements.
- Lead the specification, development, and procurement of special metal and plastic packaging solutions for production and supply chain operations.
- Define, coordinate, present, and align logistics concepts and processes with customers to ensure efficient and sustainable operations.
- Manage strategic logistics and packaging projects focused on process improvement, standardization, operational performance, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to implement packaging and logistics solutions that achieve quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement through data analysis, best-practice implementation, and optimization of logistics and packaging planning processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in logistics planning, packaging engineering, supply chain management, or a related manufacturing environment.
- Experience in logistics cost modeling, RFQ support, transportation cost analysis, and business case development.
- Strong knowledge of packaging development, returnable packaging systems, logistics processes, and end-to-end supply chain operations.
- Fluent German and English communication skills required to support regular interaction with customers and international stakeholders, with willingness to travel internationally up to 20% of the time.
